12×12 in 2020
For 14 years, artists and community members have generously gathered for Harwood’s 12×12 Fundraising Exhibitions, in support of their arts education and community outreach programs. While 2020 has been staggering, to say the least, the Harwood is deeply grateful for their continued capacities to provide nourishing services openly and freely to artists of all ages, to sustain meaningful opportunities for our staff, teachers, and exhibitors, and to receive Albuquerque’s continued collaborations and contributions — which make this work possible.
About 12×12
This year, the online galleries feature:
12”x12” original works by over 90 emerging and established artists, who remain anonymous until the works are purchased. Each piece is sold for $144.
6”x6” and 12”x12” original works by student artists from Escuela del Sol Montessori. These works also remain anonymous until they are purchased. Each 6”x6” piece is sold for $36 and each student 12”x12” piece is sold for $44.
All 12×12 works are sold on the night of the virtual event, Thursday, Dec. 3, on a first-come, first-served basis. We will open an “Artwork Preview” on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 9 a.m. 6×6 works will be opened to the public on Jan. 21. The online store will stay open until March 2021 with the remaining 12×12 & 6×6 works for sale.
In addition to the exhibitions, Harwood is so excited to offer printed exhibition catalogs. These catalogs will be available through preorder on our online store and will showcase all works featured in this year’s event.
