In November, we applied for a CLIA waiver that will allow Escuela staff to test students and staff for both Test-to-Stay and surveillance testing. At the end of January, our waiver was granted, and we have received supplies from Premier Medical Group so that we can begin in-house testing. This is wonderful news, as Escuela staff will now be able to provide more consistent testing.
Because PMG is no longer administering testing, to be eligible to participate in surveillance testing you will need to register using Simple Report. We are unable to use the PMG permission forms for our in-house testing, as we must report directly to the CDC.
As a reminder, surveillance testing will occur on Thursday mornings, and participants are selected at random.
