Escuela del Sol Montessori is working with the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) and New Mexico’s Department of Health (NMDOH) because a student in Toddler South has tested positive for COVID-19.
The student was last on campus Wednesday, October 26, within the 48-hour contagion window. Due to this exposure, masking protocols in both Toddler classrooms have been initiated. All individuals over age 2 must wear masks indoors through Monday, October 31.
At-home Test-to-Stay has also been initiated. The five-day masking period extends through Monday, October 31. Families are required to submit results of at-home antigen testing by 7:45 a.m. during Test-to-Stay. Students whose test results have not been submitted will not be allowed to be at school that day.
