Set-Up Weeks Schedule and Updates

Dear Staff, 

We hope you all have been having a restful and rejuvenating summer! A heartfelt thank you to those who have been working the Escuela + Harwood summer camps. It is hard to believe that we are in the final session of Summer and Art Camp, and we are preparing for the rapidly-approaching school year!

SET-UP WEEKS SCHEDULE

To help you feel ready for our weeks of set-up, we are providing the intended schedule, as well as some other helpful details. Please note that ALL Escuela + Harwood staff members are required to attend the scheduled events noted in *bold*.

STAFF CHILDCARE 

For the mandatory meetings, we have secured Escuela alum and Art Camp guide, Wil MacNeil to provide childcare for staff. Childcare will be provided:

• Monday, August 1: 8-11 a.m.
• Thursday, August 4: 9 a.m. – noon
• Friday, August 5: 9 a.m. – noon
• Tuesday, August 9: 8:30 a.m. – noon
• Wednesday, August 10: 9-11:30 a.m.

Please email the office with the dates and times you would like childcare, along with any allergies or other considerations by Thursday, July 28.

ONLINE SAFETY TRAININGS

To increase our school safety, we are trying online video training this year. You will be receiving an email from Vector Solutions that will include information on how to access these trainings. There are four (4) mandatory trainings, and you must complete an additional two (2) from the ones suggested. All Escuela + Harwood staff members must complete these video training by Friday, August 12. You are welcome to complete additional trainings if there are more than two that will support you and your work this year. If you have any questions regarding these trainings, please reach out to Robin and Elizabeth.
