Ms. Sarah, Elementary Coordinator and Jr. High Support, hosted our second – but first official – First Thursday Zoom Social. Ms. Friedje, Head of School, and Incoming Executive Director Ms. Kate Chavez joined in. We met and welcomed three new-to-Escuela parents, and were so happy to see some familiar faces! Everyone was excited to connect and see each other face-to-face.
A few of the Red Room parents joyfully connected, happy to finally meet the parents of children they had heard so much about. Parents suggested having video meetings for each classroom so they could meet other parents from their communities. If you are interested in hosting, please email the Office.
And finally, we talked about the yearbook! Ms. Sarah and Ms. Carmela have been working with Jr. High and Senior El students to develop the theme for this year’s yearbook. We need your photos for our beautiful and fun look back on all the work and experiences your children have had this year. Keep an eye out for a link to order your child’s yearbook!

- Check out the City Treks in the E-News or the Parent Portal, and send pictures to yearbook@edelsol.org for us to share with the community!
