Snow Day Procedures

If APS (Albuquerque Public Schools) is closed or on an abbreviated schedule due to poor driving conditions, Escuela will follow suit. For example: If APS is closed, Escuela will be closed. If APS is on a two-hour delay, the Elementary program will begin at 10:15 a.m., the Primary & Toddler programs at 10:30 a.m. There will be NO before-care.

In the event of a snowstorm during the day it may be necessary to close early. Please listen to KOB-AM/FM or watch KOAT television (channel 7) for announcements of schedule changes or early closures.

March

Spring Break: Monday, March 15th - Friday, March 19th

Last day of class before Spring Break is March 12. Classes will resume on Monday, March 22, 2010. Have a wonderful holiday!!

Spring Tea: Thursday, March 25th - Friday, March 26th

Our annual Spring Tea event will take place on Thursday and Friday. This is a lovely tradition where your child will invite you to share tea with him or her in the classroom.

Auction Committee Meeting: Tuesday, March 30th

The Escuela Auction Team will have a special off-campus meeting tonight - join us at Seasons at 5:30 pm to share our success in getting donations and figure out what’s left to do as we countdown towards the May 1 Mission Possible! event. See you there!

Escuela Earth Day Celebration - No classes, school closes at 1:00 pm.

Benefit Gala & Auction: Saturday, May 1st

Join us at the Balloon Museum for Escuela’s biennial Benefit Auction beginning at 6 pm. Bid on great items in our Silent & Live Auctions, enjoy a delicious dinner, the music of Los Primos, and the company of your fellow parents and Escuela supporters. Help us make our Mission Possible - raise $50,000 for the programs at Escuela and the Harwood Art Center.
