Meet Escuela’s Chef – Alisa Young
My staff and I are so excited to share our vision with all of you at Escuela. Our goal is to make the kitchen at Escuela the heart of the school and community. Edible education is universal and we want to foster hands-on learning, healthy food choices, and respect for one another. We welcome community engagement and utilize creative resources to inspire change in the way kids eat in an affordable manner. With many years in the culinary field as a restaurateur, executive chef, and general manager (as well as the mother of a beautiful daughter), providing the healthiest sustenance that looks as good as it tastes has always been my main objective.
